I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Apple (Bath, England) in June 2010
Interview
They just really wanted to see you, as if reality, working as a Specialist. There were quite a few mixed questions, ranging from the generic, to see how your brain works, and more specific ones. I was asked to pretend one of the interviewers was an uneducated customer, and show them the iPad.
A very enjoyable experience
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Do you think the iPad is missing a lot of features (like USB and a camera)?
It’s a very long process so have patience. Sometimes they will give you feedback but if you are external you will just receive a turn down email. Keep applying. Apple says it’s not a NO. It’s a not now and that’s very true.
Famously competitive as always, my odds were better since I kept updating my resume whenever I was on the job search. They reached out to me first by email, I completed an application, and then had three rounds of interviews in total.
