Application
I applied online. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Apple (Donegal) in June 2015
Interview
I applied online via Apple's website. I filled in all my basic information and uploaded a CV to the website. I got a call a few days later to let me know that they just emailed me my interview dates for the Technical Test and the Skype Interview with the Team Manager.
The Technical Test I found to be hit or miss for me. I have no real qualifications but I have grown up using computers my whole life and have a good understanding of what I'm doing. I'd definitely advise learning how to troubleshoot problems with hardware and software.
The Skype Interview with the Manager was super friendly. I wasn't asked any crazy questions, and I didn't have any role playing situations. It was very straight forward questions about why customer service is important, and things of that nature.
I was asked some basic questions about Apple as a company though. I'll list them below.
All in all I found the interview a really pleasant experience, but the Technical Test was very stressful.
Normal behavioral questions interview. Was mostly a conversation and previous experiences that could help with the position. Tell me about a time where... etc. Interviewers were very nice and it was a good experience.
Asked about prior work, current schedule, knowledge regarding subject matter. I didn't get into any informational interview questions until the third interview. The first two interviews were practically all formal greetings and making sure there aren't schedule or schooling conflicts.
