I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Apple (Edinburgh, Scotland) in Sept 2015
Interview
Applied online. Got an email 2 weeks later. 1st stage was taken place in a nearby hotel. I had 24 other people to compete with. They introduced themselves and then all of the candidates introduced themselves individually. This is the first interview question basically. Then you watch some short videos on what it's like to work at Apple.
Split up into groups of 6 after that with one Apple employee assigned to each group. Basically did role-play and say what we would do in particular situations and then presented it to all the other groups. Ended on a Q&A and left a form on our seats at the end.
Got an email in a few days inviting me to the 2nd stage. It was a much smaller room with the store leader and the area manager. There were 6 of us there. It was very casual and had to fill out a form in preparation for the interview and go through it with them and explain what we have filled in. Stuff like who is the most inspiration person to us and our favourite iOS features.
Didn't hear from them in a while so I called up asking if I was successful and the manager told me that I was put into a "pipeline" and that they will definitely be in contact with me when they need me. A couple of weeks after that I got a call offering me a job and then a following email saying that I should come along to some training days and to sign a contract with them.
I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Apple (Washington, DC)
Interview
It was a group interview format, with about 4 other candidates and we were given questions across all candidates. Also, we were given an opportunity to ask questions at the end.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They asked about a challenge I have come across and how that was handled.
The interview was a group format with several candidates. Each session included a few behavioral questions, and candidates were randomly called on to respond. It focused on teamwork, customer experience, and motivation. One example question was, ‘Why do you want to work at Apple?’ Overall, it was a positive and welcoming experience.
