I applied online. I interviewed at Arabella Advisors in June 2019
Interview
First round was a brief phone call followed by an easy assessment on grammar and writing. Last round was comprised of two more video interviews. Most interviewers were friendly except during the last interview, which was conducted by someone who barely engaged-asked questions without even looking at the screen, which was off-putting. Took about 1-2 weeks to hear back each round, but the process took much longer than it should have for not receiving an offer.
I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Arabella Advisors (Chicago, IL) in June 2022
Interview
I had 3-4 rounds. The first was a screening call that lasted maybe 15min from the recruiter. Then they had me complete an assignment creating a cashflow chart. Then I had 2 rounds of interviews back to back. 45 minutes each!

Very concise and direct. Interviewers got back to me promptly and professionally. Asked lots of questions related to experience, skill set and behavioral related situations. I enjoyed interviewing with this company!

Question 1
Tell me about a time you experienced a challenging situation and did not know what to do.
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Arabella Advisors in Apr 2020
Interview
Met a recruiting person at a university career fair. Took a closer look at the organization and applied for the position online.
A month later, they scheduled me for a phone interview. Immediately after it was done, they sent me a digital assessment that involved a personality test, mental aptitude assessments, and practical exercises (one where I had to draft a hypothetical email to a client, another where I had to create a budget in Google Sheets).
Later in the month, I got invited to a 1:1 virtual interview to go over my qualifications in more detail, and just a few days later they asked me to log into a third-round interview.
However, there were issues with the video meeting software (I'm still not entirely sure what happened, but I think I got sent the wrong link), so the third interview began twenty minutes late. The two interviewers were nice, but I couldn't help but feel that they seemed disinterested throughout the process. Their questions didn't go in-depth, and they ended it after twenty minutes even though the interview was scheduled for an hour. I'm not sure if this was a consequence of the technical issues or if there were other factors at play. Either way, I got a rejection email the following week.
I would not consider the process very intensive, but it was definitely more time-consuming than I would expect from an entry-level position.
