I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at AstraZeneca in June 2011
Interview
Well I started out applying for the job through the company website. Later, I received an email to set a phone interview--went through that. They really are just trying to get a good feel for you and confirm your background/experience information. About two months later I was invited in for face-to-face interview. I met with the DSM and another a person (I assume was also a manager-don't really recall) and they conducted the interview--very comfortable (STAR Format) and they went through my resume asking questions about my experience. A short time later I was invited back to meet the RSD and I knew things were in my favor then (I'd seen others just leave the building after the initial F2F so assumed them inviting me back was a good thing!). Overall the interview process was pretty standard, but if you are not prepared it will show. One the things they consistently complimented me on was my preparedness -- all necessary documents, updated resume, did my research, shows enthusiasm, and was honest about my past work (no inflation)
After the F2F interview process was over I received a call from management that night, to participate in a ride-a-long w/ a rep which I did. About a week later I received my offer and that was it!
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Describe a time when you were split between two equally important tasks (i.e high importance issue vs. a big meeting). How did you handle it?
We started with a phone interview and then moved on to a virtual interview. After the virtual interview, there was a 3rd interview with upper management. Finally there was a 4th call with management that didn't feel as much like an interview.

Question 1
Can you give us a time where you had a disagreement with a manager? What was it about and how was it resolved?
Phone screen first. 2nd interview with 2 DMs. Mostly STAR questions and how you handle situations. Want to make sure you are good fit with company and goals. Reviewed my sales experience, but focused on my personality and how I would respond in various scenarios.

Question 1
Describe a time you didn’t get results you wanted and how did you drive performance?
I applied online. I interviewed at AstraZeneca in Apr 2020
Interview
The recruiter was very professional and respectful, responsive and answered my questions and phone calls. The manager (who would not have been the manager that I was to work for) was NOT. She opened by saying that we really weren’t having an interview, we were ‘having just a chat’. This apparently meant that I was not allowed to expand on my answers in any way or to bring out applicable skills sets. She only wanted background information as it related to job experience, no embellishments please.
