I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at BAE Systems USA in Oct 2022
Interview
I had a phone interview with a recruiter. The recruiter was friendly and primarily asked resume related questions, verifying my level of experience, education, and salary requirements. I was referred to the hiring manager but decided not to proceed with the process.

Question 1
How do you handle interpersonal relationships with difficult teams?
The phone screen was standard which led to a 2 person panel interview with the hiring manager and what would be a close colleague. The interview itself was a standard interview and both interviewers were very friendly. The recruiter did misquote the benefit package (quoted a higher benefit package than the position qualified for) and once the correct information was provided, it wasn't enough to justify leaving current employment.

Question 1
Describe a time where you disagreed with your manager and how did you handle that disagreement?
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at BAE Systems USA (Telephone, TX) in Nov 2020
Interview
Telephone interview with the recruiter was excellent. She understood military defense contracts in war zones and appreciated my unique experience. She was very excited about my possibly joining the company. However,
I did not impress the three Human Resource "professionals" in a subsequent telephone interview.

Question 1
The three "professionals" asked good questions but didn't understand my responses. I think they want cut and dried conformists, not creative out-of-the-box thinkers.
