The recruiting process lasts 2 weeks starting from the first interview. It has 2 stages: a preliminary interview with a junior HR when they test your IQ, Logic and English skills, your goals, motivation and imterpersonal skills. The 2nd part consists in an interview with the HR Manager and a partner of the law firm during which they further test your personality and your legal abilities.
The preliminary test is tricky if you're not inspired. The tests are written. You are given a notebook with the exercises, but you are not allowed to scratch anything on Them. You are also given some paper, to sketch ideas. However, you won't even have time to think. no matter how quick you are at the logic& Iq tests, you don't have the time to miss a row. Also, we had 12 minutes to complete both a page of personal questions and to describe in half a page, in English, a moment in life when we had to do something we know nothing about, how it went and what we Learned.
Also, the reading tests in English are based on texts with errors.
To sum up, it sounded very professional, but it wasn't. Having less than 5 minutes to plan, write, correct, polish a half a page story is not normal. You can hack it and start with the story and force the recruiter to give you extra time for the personal question.
