Interview
I applied through my tuition provider in mid-July and I got called in mid-August for a group interview. The interview started with an essay writing then followed by a group interview.
Candidates were seated around the conference table and required to introduce ourselves one by one. Interviewers asked questions after each introduction. Interviewers were staff from HR as well as Audit department.

For those who had worked in audit before, interviewers were trying to gauge if they are fine with the long working hours.

From my experience, BDO's recruitment process moves quite quickly. HR often contacts shortlisted candidates on short notice. For instance, test results may be released on the 2nd, while the HR screening interview is scheduled on the 4th. This means candidates need to be prepared and flexible, as there is usually little time to prepare between stages.

The interviewer first asked me to introduce myself in English. After that, they asked why I wanted to become an auditor and what interested me about the auditing profession.
The interviewers are helpful and fun, and very responsive. It is a group interview and 3 people in a room with 4 interviewers, it started with an online assessment 6 questions, include logical thinking, and few problem solving questions and after that interview session started.
