I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at BMC Software (Pune) in Sept 2012
Interview
I joined the company when I was fresh out of college. The hiring process for this position is quite simple. There was a technical round, where basically the interviewer wanted to test my communication and basic technical aptitude rather than looking for any particular knowledge. It was clear that they needed someone with the right attitude to start afresh and learn as quickly as possible and start contributing to the business asap. In short, not really difficult to get in if you are a fresher.

I applied online. I interviewed at BMC Software (Reading, England) in June 2017
Interview
Worst interview I have ever been.
The interview was ok in the beginning & later hiring manager was rushing because the room was booked for sales meeting. Hiring manager did not ask a single question about me or my career.
Second thing the HR is very poor on response, after numerous emails, after month & half they came back. Absolutely lost the interest of the company. Complete waste of time.
