      10 Apr 2014
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Neutral experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Bank of America in Apr 2014

      Interview

Applied online. Received call from recruiter, but missed it. Called recruiter back and did phone interview on the spot. Scheduled for f2f interview for the next day. Branch manager had no idea I even had an interview with her when I arrived, but she conducted it anyway. I was told by both the Branch manager and recruiter that I would be contacted the next day, which was only yesterday. I will try to call later today if I have not heard anything.

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Bank of America in Feb 2014

      Interview

Applied online. One week later I was called to schedule a phone interview for the next Monday coming but was actually called a few hours later to complete the phone interview. First she asked me to fill the background check info. Asked three questions: Why do you want to work for BofA?, Tell me about a special situation you went above and beyond for a customer?, another one I forgot. She had before already invited me to the group interview of 15 to 20 other applicants of other store locations for the following week. The next wed. They ask the same questions add the first question, Tell me about yourself?. They talk about bofA, ask for feedback, and then if you have any questions. I asked one question. At the end of the group interview they asked a few people to stay which I thought were the good ones who were getting jobs. I wasn't asked to stay but got called two days later to have one on one with the bank manager which I applied at. The one on one was easier, it was more general. Just talk about scheduling, future, benefits. Two days later got offered the job with pay bump for being bilingual. Fingerprint processing and I9 verification. I start in two weeks. Tips: Smile a lot, get rid of your nervousness, be kind to everyone you meet, be yourself, they want diversity, what sets you apart from everybody else?, Talk about being involved in your community. If you are a student, you have to work around their schedule not the other way around.
