I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Bankers Life (Sarasota, FL) in Feb 2019
Interview
They’re just looking for bodies to sell their products. Commission only. No investment in employee on their part. They don’t care about your employee experience, just filling seats. HR person leaves a terrible impression.
At first is pretty much a really quick screening process over the phone, then a phone interview, and then like two in person interviews basically, with two different higher ups.
I applied through other source. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Bankers Life (Muncie, IN) in Mar 2026
Interview
It started with a briefing seminar in a group before an in person interview. The questions were brief and in line with other sales jobs. Motivation seems to be the highest desire from the employer.
Very easy group briefing and then a personal one on one interview. You get to see exactly what you'll be getting into and the awesome structure of the company. You also get to see how you can develop your career there.
