Two stages, first being with project director then if successful the second would be with company director. The difficulties depend on who you get. Not easy, for a simple position was very generic, but
Interview with multiple levels of management, and direct manager. Some included via VC. Relaxed, but different varied questions. Questions asked about previous experiences, skills - past and present, goals, history of the company, and personal aspirations.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Berkeley Group (London, England) in July 2015
Interview
Organised an interview with a recruiter and went to site to meet the development manager I would be reporting to. Spent over an hour discussing the role and he decided to call in the development director. After meeting with both, the development manager took me on a tour of the development showing me all the different buildings and spaces. He verbally told me I had the job and that he was excited I'd be joining the team. This lated over 3 hours. The recruiter then said he'd sort the paper work and would get back in touch about a start date. A week later I went to site to meet one of the project managers. About a month passed and still no start date. I touched base with the recruiter 1-2 times a week to get an update but nothing. Still to this day I don't know what happened.
