Berkeley Group Project Manager interview questions

Two stages, first being with project director then if successful the second would be with company director. The difficulties depend on who you get. Not easy, for a simple position was very generic, but

Organised an interview with a recruiter and went to site to meet the development manager I would be reporting to. Spent over an hour discussing the role and he decided to call in the development director. After meeting with both, the development manager took me on a tour of the development showing me all the different buildings and spaces. He verbally told me I had the job and that he was excited I'd be joining the team. This lated over 3 hours. The recruiter then said he'd sort the paper work and would get back in touch about a start date. A week later I went to site to meet one of the project managers. About a month passed and still no start date. I touched base with the recruiter 1-2 times a week to get an update but nothing. Still to this day I don't know what happened.
