I responded to a requisition on the Boeing website and let a contact at Boeing know I had applied. The interview was on the phone with one technical person, several managers, and an HR rep. Took a week or two to find out if I had the position.

Question 1
The interview was pretty disappointing actually. They have to ask you a boilerplate set of questions. They're looking for STAR type answers, i.e. describe a time you had to work with someone you had trouble getting along with, leadership example. Really no technical questions which was kind of hard to believe.

Recruiter reached after applying online. Boilerplate questions about being open to relocation, pay. etc. 1 interview with two managers just talking about resume. Some behavioral questions, and I did have a flight controls project on my resume and we get somewhat technical about that but no grilling like SpaceX
