I applied through university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Boeing (Seattle, WA) in Jan 2011
Interview
There were 3 rounds of interview- all over the phone. Most were straight forward and asked about your background and experience in IT, what you learned in school, what kind of creative IT solutions have you contributed to etc. Since it's for an internship position, I am sure the questions are not as hard as for actual positions.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Give me an example of when you used technology creatively to solve a problem.
Short, behavioral interview. Plenty of time for questions, take advantage of this, show them you are a good person and be interested. Interview was not with a hiring manager but actual employees.
The interview was done on HireVue, which is an AI based system that evaluates your interview by analyzing speech, words, features, movements, eye contact etc. They ask you 5 questions and also include some games at the end.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Boeing (Nashville, TN) in Apr 2014
Interview
Initial communication was made through a career fair where I was invited to a pre-screening event. The pre-screening event resulted in an interview but ultimately during the interview I was told that I could not be hired due to my need for sponsorship.
