I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Boeing in Aug 2010
Interview
Interview was with a group panel and about 10 questions. Process was laid back and not difficult. Mainly looking for individuals with military experience. Questions asked could have been easily pulled off your own resume. No skill testing or situational questions were asked.

I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Boeing
Interview
Standard Panel Interview. I had 4 individuals take turns asking me the generic questions concerning the standard conflict with a co-worker, tell me about a time you could have done something better, tell me about a time you have had to manage multiple things at once, etc.
Then, I had to explain your background. One of the individuals on the panel ended up being my manager.

I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Boeing (Renton, WA) in June 2012
Interview
Originally, I interviewed in person. After my first contract project, managers knew me and called or emailed me with new contracts. Sometimes, I would come in and talk with a prospective manager; other times, I would just show up and get to work.
