I applied through university. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Boeing (Long Beach, CA) in July 2011
Interview
Structured Interview with about 5 Questions. Three person panel with two managers and an senior engineer. A question would be asked, I would answer and that would lead to a follow on question or two. I was not very prepared, if I had to do it again I would look up the common questions they ask (they can be found online) and have an answer for each one. They want to hear about real situations preferably from extra curricular activities.

Interview
I was in a special recruiting initiative and subsequently only had 1 in-person behavioral interview. There were 5 questions that required a STAR answer. The questions involved describing a technical project and a difficulty you had with someone you worked with.

Question 1
Describe a technical project you worked on in detail. What was the situation, the task, the actions you took, and the result?
Took a while to get an interview setup. The whole process is quite slow, months. The interview itself was very structured and non-technical. Was good that they let my resume speak for itself, but would be bad if I lied a ton. They did however verify previous employment, and education.

Question 1
Questions weren't really difficult. Standard questions like how did you handle a difficult person.
