      Project Engineer Interview

      10 Dec 2015
      Anonymous employee
      Everett, WA
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Boeing (Everett, WA) in Mar 2012

      Interview

Traditional questions following a standard behavior type question format. Expected responses in traditional STAR, Situation, Task, Action, Results. The interviewers were friendly and professional, asking for examples of situations where leadership, problem solving and interpersonal skills were displayed. The company has a traditional and conservative perspective. This translated directly to the interview, business professional attire (suit and tie). Respectful and reserved interviewers in a panel of two people.

      Project Engineer Interview

      23 Jan 2025
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Neutral experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 5 months. I interviewed at Boeing in Sept 2024

      Interview

The recruiter reached out for an initial screening, then sent my resume to the hiring manager for review before scheduling the panel interview. The position was put on hold for a hiring freeze, but the recruiter was communicative throughout that period regarding status and reopening - much better than many other companies. By the time they wanted to reschedule the panel I had accepted another role.

      Project Engineer Interview

      25 June 2016
      Anonymous employee
      Huntsville, AL
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Boeing (Huntsville, AL) in Apr 2016

      Interview

Single phone interview with a small panel. Typical structured questions requiring a Situation, Task, Action, and Response (STAR). Interviewers were helpful and were happy to clarify any questions they asked or if my responses were appropriate for the skills they were looking for. After the formal interview was over, I asked some standard followup questions about the position. In addition to my resume and interview skills, I think what solidified the interview for me was asking what kind of issues the program was presented with and how I might address those.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Standard Situation, Task, Action, and Response (STAR) questions. ie "have you ever encountered a situation where.... and how did you respond?"
