I applied through university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Boeing in Apr 2025
Interview
Don't bother with this company, vibed with the manager super well and was clear that they wanted me, but this company gives so much power to HR/Recruiting who legit have no idea who's actually qualified. If there's anyone who works at the Mesa branch and oversees this department, I literally had 2 previous internships and have helped ship content which generated literally hundreds of thousands of dollars for my companies, have projects, and even a huge toolset of languages and technologies. However despite what the hiring manager thinks, Boeing literally thinks that HR and Recruiting should have the power and say of who gets these positions which can even be backed by the employees complaining about this flaw throughout the last few years. Makes sense why the company is falling apart. To any applicants that feel bad for being rejected, don't because the manger can only make recommendations for candidates while HR/recruiting decides who gets the positions. I've seen them on LinkedIn for the branch I was applying for and not a single one(I'm serious here), had any engineering background/discipline, so please enlighten me why these people have more power than the actual hiring managers for these positions.

Interview
Interview at a career fair. Pretty basic discussion of past projects and things on my resume. No direct technical questions but I had to explain the technical aspects of my resume in depth.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
What language did you use to build this project and what are the main advantages that made you choose that language?
Before interview, a coding test related to the job (in my case, robotics) is performed. Then the interview takes place right after the coding test. Questions are both technical and non-technical.

Question 1
How would you code it in an object-oriented programming language to make sure the two robots do not collide when moving to their final locations?
