I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Boston Scientific (Maple Grove, MN) in July 2016
Interview
Process was lax from the start. Contacted for a phone screen that was supposed to happen at 1:00 but they called at 1:45. Was invited for 3-45 minute in person interviews. First 2 went great and went well over their time with each giving me contact info and liking my background. Third interview with the actual hiring manager went to pot. She instantly said my background was nowhere near what she wanted and had no idea how I got in there. She then continued to ask generic questions while rolling her eyes. Lasted only 20 minutes and at the end she said "I suppose I should walk you out now". I have a friend that is a manager at the Arden Hills location that says this must be a Maple Grove thing but I would never want to work at that location
Had 5 interviews, after the 5th I was turned down for another candidate. It’s is a lengthy competitive interview process. Liked all of the people I interviewed with, everyone seemed very personable and kind.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Boston Scientific (Minneapolis, MN) in Aug 2022
Interview
Behavioral interview with hiring manager. Nothing too crazy, mostly just situational questions. Lasted 45 minutes with 3-4 questions from his side and a handful of questions from my side. Overall it was a very standard interview for the position. I would expect that the more technical questions come in later rounds.
