The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Butterfly London
Interview
Had a response immediately after sending my application and an interview scheduled but then they forgot they had me scheduled in and scrambled last minute to find someone to interview me. The interview seemed to go well, was told verbatim "we will definitely be in touch" and then they ghosted me. After chasing for about a month for feedback they responded with a non personal prefab rejection.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Butterfly London (New York, NY) in July 2018
Interview
Interviewed for a role in their new NY office. Applied online and had a Skype conversation with a director, who gave an overview of the work and their goals for the office. Had an in-person interview within a few weeks with that director and a manager, which consisted of behavioral and fit questions, and a brief thought experiment on how to sell an unusual product. The interview went well and I was told to expect to hear from them within a week, but after checking in a few times in the subsequent weeks I was informed they needed to hire for higher-level roles at that point before reconsidering the consultant position. It seems like a fun, thoughtful company to work for, though may be experiencing some growing pains.

Question 1
How would you sell X object?
How would you go about evaluating subsequent applicants for a small team?

Interview
One of the most senior members interviewed me. I had travelled a long way to get to their office and he just asked me to tell them about myself - which I did - and then said there's not much more to ask and send me away. It was less than 30 mins and it appeared they weren't interested in meeting me anyway. Afterwards they said to the recruiter my background wasn't relevant - they've seen my CV prior to meeting me so this was very frustrating and a waste of time.
