I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at CSL (Speke, England) in June 2023
Interview
Arrived at the site and was met at the security office. Mini tour through the building on the way to the interview room. Was very laid back but still formal. One manager and two supervisors. Had 6 competency questions in the STAR style (they requested this format) and 3 technical questions. Were very helpful in guiding answers, for example they said they read something on my CV and could this help answer the question? They were very joyful and interested in what you had to say. We had a few conversations about interests too. They prompted to ask them questions at the end. Unfortunately was rejected as they felt they "would not be able to provide the support they thought I'd need" - was advertised to me as a role for people with less experience and no prior training.

Question 1
Tell us about a time where you exceeded in an achievement despite expectations. Tell us something you've learnt recently. Tell us about a time you dealt with a conflict at work or wherever. Tell us about a time you made a quick decision that turned out well. Tell us about how you represented your company, or school or group if you haven't for a company. Tell us how you would manage a time constraint. What is the purpose of GMP? Say you have a new immunoassay, what would you expect and what would you do to validate it?
