I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Capgemini (Pune) in July 2023
Interview
It was easy and I was asked only basic questions, but this may not be the case for everyone. Prepare about your College projects, earlier experiences, internships, etc. . . . .

Basic HR questions,
The recruitment process started with an online application through the Superset portal. After shortlisting, I received an invitation for the online assessment round.
Round 1: Online Assessment
The assessment consisted of aptitude questions including quantitative ability, logical reasoning, and verbal ability. There were also basic technical questions related to core mechanical engineering concepts. The questions were moderate in difficulty and required good time management.
Round 2: Technical Interview
The technical interview focused mainly on core mechanical subjects and my M.Tech project. I was asked questions about strength of materials, materials science, manufacturing processes, and composite materials. The panel went deep into my project work, especially fabrication method, testing procedures, and interpretation of results. They were particularly interested in understanding my problem-solving approach and practical knowledge rather than just theoretical answers.
Round 3: HR / Managerial Interview
The HR round focused on behavioral questions such as teamwork, handling failure, relocation flexibility, and career goals. I was also asked why I wanted to join Capgemini and how I see myself contributing to the organization. The discussion was professional and interactive.
I applied in-person. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Capgemini in Mar 2024
Interview
I was contacted by their HR rep through Linkedin.
First round: call with HR.
Second round: call with the hiring manager; we discussed the job requirements and agreed to have a technical interview with the team leader the next week.
The company never contacted me to schedule this next interview and didn't reply to my emails anymore.
