I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Charles Schwab (Omaha, NE) in June 2026
Interview
She just asked if I had interviewed with them before and if I had sales experience. She wasn't very friendly and approachable but was professional. It was a phone interview so couldn't judge her based on her reactions, but she had a poker face voice so I found it difficult to gauge it.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Charles Schwab
Interview
Two round interview with the last one being in person on site. My second round was with 2 people so not too bad. Keep in mind there is a 2 year commitment to the umbrella this position (Not the position itself) falls under before you can move to a different umbrella.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
“ an example you turned a problem into a solution”
“ Name a time where you had an issue with a manger and how did you resolve it”
“ a time you went above and beyond for a client”
It was over Zoom, you should dress business casual. It was very relaxed. No need to try hard, be yourself, be honest, and show your enthusiasm. It helps if you can relate things to Charles Schwab.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Zoom screening - typical STAR and behavioral questions. Why Schwab? Any retail/client experience? How would you handle a customer in [scenario]? The 2 year commitment seems to be a thing they really want the point accross.
