I applied online. I interviewed at Charles Schwab (New York, NY) in Aug 2020
Interview
Nice at the beginning. Recruiters do ask a ton of questions, sometimes the same question just worded differently. I have interviewed with 4 women from Schwab, all recruiters. Not one has followed up with me about status of my application after spending at least 30 minutes with me for an interview. I've had to proactively reach out, and when I do, I don't hear back either. Or they'll respond with "let's set up a time to speak" and then they don't confirm a time. The process is a train wreck. I do not recommend, you'll just be hung out to dry. During this time especially, people want hope and full transparency. Not to be ghosted.
Interview was very personal and focused around how you engage with existing or previous clients. They want to here how you stay engaged as well. Overall they want to figure out of you are coachable and determined.

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Charles Schwab (Na-Duar) in Sept 2021
Interview
Video-based interview with branch manager and assistant branch manager; One round overall, and then an offer was extended to another candidate; Expedited timeline from job posting to interview to offer (about two weeks total); Highly scripted, orderly feeling questions regarding understanding of VP-FC role and my strategies for achieving success in the role; Some scenario-based questions; Disappointed in the scope of the interview lacking much human element and/or technical probing; Limited communication during the process outside of scheduling the interview or the interview itself
I applied online. I interviewed at Charles Schwab (Chicago, IL) in June 2021
Interview
Zoom meeting with the branch manager & assistant branch manager to discuss the day-to-day activities, first year expectations, total comp. Come with as many detailed questions as possible. VP - FC roles are in my opinion very coveted roles and worth interviewing for.
