Essentially, there was a phone interview to make sure that I was qualified for the position. This was followed up with a 1:1 interview. There is a personality assessment to make sure candidates are extroverts. There is a test to ensure you know basic math. This is typical for the brokerage side really. It is hard to imagine that they would let all candidates through in this economic environment. Unemployment is high in Colorado, and white collar workers experience a 4-6% level of unemployment. I am happy to get an entry level job out of school at a large firm.
