Late in December, I had an initial interview with Charles Schwab's charitable-giving division, DAFgiving360. I have over 20 years of experience and have worked at several Fortune 1000 companies. My experience was a great fit for the role. I was told by the CyberThink recruiter that Charles Schwab wants every potential candidate to have a 'great experience', even if another candidate is chosen. I prepared for the interview for 2 days. The interview was absurdly short, with virtually no substantive questions. The interviewer acknowledged during the interview that she hadn't even viewed my portfolio. Afterward, the recruiter shared with me that the vague feedback provided was simply 'poor interview'. I twice requested specific feedback from the recruiter for my future interviews. I was ghosted. So I reached out directly to the Charles Schwab interviewer to respectfully request more specific feedback. I waited until after the holidays for any reply. I was again ghosted. I did not have a 'great experience' and found the whole process breathtakingly unprofessional.
