I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Chevron (Houston, TX) in Aug 2011
Interview
I was contacted initially by HR to set up a 1:1 interview on site. The initial interview was about an hour and consisted of a panel asking about my previous work experience. I was contacted a few days later by HR about coming in for a second interview. This time I was interviewed panel style by many employees and managers. I was also asked some technical questions. Everyone was professional, friendly, and it was an overall positive experience. I did not receive any feedback until two weeks later and that was after I contacted the hiring manager. I really wish companies could notify you sooner if you are being denied an offer.
