I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Chevron (Azusa, CA) in Oct 2015
Interview
The owner had me first watch him go through transactions on the register at full speed then asked me to do it. Then he had me sit in this small dirty office with boxes crowding the room and only a love seat.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
The owner asked me many innappropiate questions like did I have a boyfriend, and whom did I live with, for example. He was demeaning and insulting asking if I knew how to clean a bathroom. He pressured me to tell him how long I wanted to work there if he hired me and would not accept my answer that I had no way of knowing if I would even like the job.
Quick and easy, all under a week process. Management was helpful with answering questions about the company. They explained how we could move up in the chain and the different areas we could work in during the shift
Prepare thoroughly for straightforward questions, projecting professionalism and showcasing your strong work ethic. It's a manageable process that doesn't demand extensive preparation. You can prepare if you want but you will be fine
The interview is easy. Its just basically behavioral questions. I dont remember all the questions but its mostly about making sure you are able to work in that environment. I wouldnt worry too much.
