I got this opportunity through campus placements.
First there was an OA. Around 597 candidates appeared for this round. It had 45 MCQs from different domains: Aptitude, Networks, Operating Systems, Cloud, DSA and output based questions.
Around 80 people were selected for the further process.
Interview Round 1: Technical Interview
Began with the basic "Introduce yourself" question. Other questions asked were related to SQL, Web Development (specifically HTML, CSS, JS and React.js), Python (since I specified that as my preferred language) and APIs, specifically REST and RESTful ones.
I was also asked in detail about my projects and internship.
Interview Round 1: HR Interview
A while after my technical interview, I was informed that I had cleared it and was scheduled for the HR interview. The HR interview again started with the introduction and then we delved deeper into my resume. I explained my projects and my work during my internships. I was also asked in detail about certifications and hackathon participations.
Apart from these, I was also asked other general and behavioural questions like "Tell me about a time you handled a conflict", "When did you convince someone to buy into your vision", "Strengths and weaknesses", "When did you fail?", "Why did you choose Computer Science" and "Why CBA"? I was even asked questions about the pre-placement talk given in the morning before the process began, specifically, what stood out to me most in their presentation and why.
After waiting for 1.5 more hours, they announced the final selects. 20 people were selected and I was one of them.
Tips:
1. Know everything in and about your resume, be prepared to explain even the certifications, why you did it and what value it adds.
2. Be confident while speaking and make sure your body language reflects the same.
3. Admit it when you don't know, you can't bluff your way through it.
4. Do some homework about the organisation and subtly show it, especially in the HR round.
5. Do your best and forget the rest!
