      Structural Analysis Engineer Interview

      11 Dec 2010
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Columbus, IN
      Declined offer
      Neutral experience
      Easy interview

      Application

The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Cummins (Columbus, IN) in Dec 2010

      Interview

Invited for a 'site visit' with 40 other candidates after going through 2 phone interviews. True enough, that was it. No in depth, technical questions. Simple plant/city tours, etc.. Then lunch and meeting your team. It was really dodgy because they don't give you the job offer on the spot.. not even at the end of the day.. and they never formally told all of us why were we there. so its kinda strange when you're there, don't know if you're getting hired, and they're bringing you onto a tour around the city and bring you to look at apartments -.- other than that, its easy compared to the phone interviews.. I suppose unless you perform a major eff-up, once you go for the site visit, you're hired.
