I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Delta Air Lines (Atlanta, GA) in Feb 2015
Interview
I applied 01/10/2015 and finished my assessment day of. Then went back to realize there is a more extensive application to finish before you application is finished.
Finished everything 01/13/2015
Now its the email game for then on,
Email received 01/18/2015 Stating I made it one step further! Time for the video interview.
You receive a second email HireView (which I received 01/19/2015) with the Video interview link and you have 3 days upon receipt of the second email. I finished it on 01/21/2015 and received a conformation email right after.
~Now its 5 questions which are like... tell me a time (in STAR format) in which you had a problem with a coworker. (Confrontational WWYD type questions. Really easy don't be nervous I messed up and dropped my smile and rolled me eyes because I misspoke moments before that LOL! They're more seeing if you'er attractive enough and have good communication skills.) The people you meet in Atlanta don't even see this or your application.
***If you get nervous and can't think of an answer you can close the weblink and it will bring you right back to the question after you thought of something.***
On 01/23/2015 I received and email stating you are one step closer! This email states someone will call for an "interview" its not an interview I promise, he/she will ask have you seen the videos or articles about the job and training center? What did you think about it? Just light talking then she asked for my Passport id number and if I had tattoos that would be visible and if I can wear the Delta Uniform if hired. No tats and heels are doable so check and check. She then of course because I qualified invited me to Atlanta!
**Now the email stating you will receive a call from HR says 9am-9pm ANY day of the week my first call I missed was 01/25/2015 at 6:50 pm from an Unknown caller. I got my second call 01/27/2015 at 8:49 pm I kid you not lol.**
On 01/28/2015 I received my you've been invited for the F2F in Atlanta email with 6 available times in which you number in preference 1-6. The first available was that Friday 01/29/2015 I went with Monday 02/02/2015 (Because it was my Bday I thought I could get some sympathy points!) And you have 24 hours to respond.
On 01/29/2014 Got my confirmation on the time and day I will be interviewing with a list of hotels you might want to stay I suggest Hyatt Place soon nice.
On 01/30/2015 I received my itinerary and an email on the things I needed to bring and print and dress expectations.
Flew all Super Bowl sunday 02/01/2015 left WA 9:00 am and got to Atlanta at 10:00 pm and tried to prep needless to say try to get the later interview in you're flying in from far away.
02/02/2015 So I happen to catch an Uber with 2 other interviewees we got there got lost (so come early!) and ended up being with a new hire class and ended up finding the right place at the knick of time. Put our passport SSC application and some other paperwork in a clear envelope and followed them into another room now our group was barely small like 25 people? or less. broke into only 2 groups A and B (I was B) First phase you say where you are from what's your current occupation (Meet greet crap) then interview with Flight attendant and HR I had a man (I didn't connect with him when I was walking around talking to everyone merp.) they ask you some more basic 6 WWYD questions and ask you to answer in STAR format but good note is to apply previous work and your answer to WWFAD (What would a flight attendant do) like, why would the story your about to say make you a good Delta FA. Then have questions to ask them at the end...it's be hard because a lot of your questions are answered previously. but leave an impression!
Then you go take a 2 pictures and the reach test to see if you're height approved then socialize until they tell you who made it.
I unfortunately didn't make the cut but Im African American and but the look of the raining group I ran into they had already made their quota.
The people who made it all had skirts on so note to self please please please wear a skirt suit...yes jacket needed for Delta and hair in a cute out of the face hairstyle bangs are more than ok. The girl that road in the uber with me had red lips and a scarf with a dark skirt suit...she made it...she also looked the part so look like a FA for sure...I wore a pant suit.
All in all I was mad because why fly me out there but it cost them 11 dollars to fly me, but its a confidence booster you're one and 200,000 thousand that actually makes it to the F2F So you're awesome and can P.Much get any job after this if you don't get it!
***Now to keep it real they have 2 interview groups a day and trust if they do not pick you to stay behind by the end you are not, I repeat NOT getting hired.*** Just keeping it real, why would they email you when they can another group of people coming in after or the next day ya know?
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Basic WWYD in confrontational situations Im sorry I forgot the questions but they were really easy promise!
I am currently in the interview process for the FA position and have reached the ODV part of it. Most of the questions are expierenced based, so I would recommend just thinking of the times you have exceeded the customer service baseline before hand.

Question 1
Name a time you had to deal with an upset customer?
It’s challenging, but rewarding, remember to answer in star format, and just enjoy the process, think about your why and smile! No matter if you have received a TBNT- don’t let that stop you from your dream…Keep climbing!
