I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Delta Air Lines (Atlanta, GA) in July 2022
Interview
The interview process isn’t hard but try not to over think and stay positive. I don’t think I’ll ever apply to delta again but i don’t want to discourage other future flight attendants. The other post are 100 % correct as far as the 1st interview is an assessment, 2nd interview is a virtual with a former or current flight attendant and 3rd interview is an in person interview in Atlanta. The first two steps were relaxed for me and i was completely myself but i will say i don’t like how the in person interview is set up! You will feel like it’s a competition which i don’t think is best if they are pushing applicants to not be nervous. I felt like if you weren’t telling a story about your experience with delta and being almost in tears you probably won’t get the job. The flight attendants during the mingle sessions in the room felt like worker ants or robots giving basically all the same answers. They tell you that being released from the f2f at the end means you have to wait for an email to see if you are hired. That’s a lie if you are dismissed you won’t be hired which sucks if you don’t know what you can work on in the future. I didn’t feel like delta was a community like they advertised it’s more military or frat like to me so that’s why I’ll never apply to this company again but best of luck to all the future flight attendants!
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They asked 3 situational questions. This portion of the interview allows you to showcase your self more. The informational was very informative but the cart exercise was pointless but again if it’s what you really want please stay positive and be yourself.
I am currently in the interview process for the FA position and have reached the ODV part of it. Most of the questions are expierenced based, so I would recommend just thinking of the times you have exceeded the customer service baseline before hand.

Question 1
Name a time you had to deal with an upset customer?
It’s challenging, but rewarding, remember to answer in star format, and just enjoy the process, think about your why and smile! No matter if you have received a TBNT- don’t let that stop you from your dream…Keep climbing!
