      Delta Flight Attendant Interview

      9 Sept 2022
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Atlanta, GA
      No offer
      Positive experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Delta Air Lines (Atlanta, GA) in Sept 2022

      Interview

I won’t disclose much about the Face to Face interview because they literally tell you about 100 times not to say anything. However, I will say they are EXTREMELY picky so be ready to stand out!! Don’t act like a suck up, but also do not be too quiet either, ask questions, and mingle with the flight attendants. They are watching your every move from the moment the interview starts. Also, be sure you have questions ready about the day to day life of a flight attendant. “What’s the schedule like? What is an A-day? How long is training? Etc.” Oh, and when they say wear only black, navy, or gray, they MEAN wear only black, navy, or gray. You will still go through the whole interview but be automatically cut if you come wearing a color or print of any other sort. Overall, just be your best self and lose the nerves because over 150,000 people applied for the job and you were one of the few to get the F2F, that is something to be very proud of! Have faith, and don’t forget ask questions!!

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

What would you do if your coworker on the aircraft was not doing his/her job and how would you respond to this situation?

      Interview

There are two assessments before the first self-recorded video interview. The first is the values assessment. The second is the virtual job tryout where they ask situational questions and you have to answer which is the most likely response and least likely response.

      Question 1

A situation arises as a flight attendant where you have to balance your obligations to the current flight you're deplaning and an upcoming flight that you need to make on time.

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at Delta Air Lines (Atlanta, GA) in Jan 2025

      Interview

Applied in early September 2024. Was moved to the test assessment/ video interview in late October 2024. Found out early December 2024 that I got the in person interview and it is scheduled for early January 2025!!! It has taken a lot of patience but has given me ample time to get ready and feel prepared. The test assessment was fairly simple, took maybe 30 minutes. They do test your listening and memorization so pay close attention to directions. Video interview was 5 questions where I had 6 attempts to answer each question in 3 minutes or less. I've been watching a ton of flight attendant vlogs and I've done 3 mock interviews to get ready for my in person event day. Wish me luck! My advice to anyone applying for ANY flight attendant position: 1. safety is the most important thing! Try tying everything back to safety 2. Avoid the standard "I love people. I love travel" answers. Dig deeper!! 3. Learn more about the company. There are so many airlines out there. You might align with one company's mission and values but not another.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

What values do you align with Delta? Can you share a story that portrays that value?
