      Flight Attendant Interview

      15 Sept 2015
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Positive experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Delta Air Lines in Aug 2015

      Interview

I applied Aug, 18 online and was invited to complete the HirVue interview the following day. The interview itself is just like a face to face interview except with the added speaking-to-yourself-on-camera factor. For women, remember to pull your hair back out of your face. Dress appropriately as you would for an interview but only your shoulders and head will show on the video so focus on looking your best around your collar and hair and makeup (for women). The questions tend to be loaded with several questions pertaining a topic like: Tell us of a time you had to work with a difficult co-worker? What did you do? What was the outcome? Practice the questions you find on glassdoor, they really are on point! I think the main task here is to practice and be very prepared to answer these types of questions in STAR format. Don't be nervous, don't fidget a lot, look straight at the camera. I completed my online on Aug. 23 but unfortunately received the TBNT e-mail on Sept. 4. I can look back though and see where I made mistakes. I hope that my experience helps someone else! Its a great company and I will definitely be applying sometime in the future. Also! Take advantage of the practice questions! Just remember they won't be the same as the real questions but they are in the same format!

      Interview

I am currently in the interview process for the FA position and have reached the ODV part of it. Most of the questions are expierenced based, so I would recommend just thinking of the times you have exceeded the customer service baseline before hand.
