Received an email (no phone call, even though I'd done a one-hour interview) two days later that was a generic "We were fortunate to receive a large number of exceptional applications. After careful consideration, we are sorry to inform you that you have not been selected to progress to the next stage of the recruitment process" I replied and asked for feedback. I then got an alert that E2 had looked at my application on LinekdIn again (presumably trying to remember why they didn't want to employ me) Never got a reply to my email. Very disappointing experience
