I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at EF (Education First) (Tarrytown, NY) in June 2016
Interview
There was a brief phone interview where you spoke with one of the academic managers. That was only about 10-15 minutes. If that went well then you're invited to the campus for a 20 min demo lesson. The academic manager gives you some topics and the level of the students. You can choose one of their topics or one of your own. Lastly you had an interview with the academic manager. If that goes well you can expect an email with an offer in less than a week

I interviewed at EF (Education First) (Shanghai, Shanghai)
Interview
Easiest interview I've had, they talked more as if I already had the job. Asking questions like where in china did I want to be. Don't stress, just be relaxed and talk about why you want to teach and why you want to live in china.
