      Product Designer Interview

      14 June 2021
      Anonymous interview candidate
      London, England
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at EF (Education First) (London, England) in Sept 2020

      Interview

After an initial interview with the department lead I got passed through an intensive second stage (essentially replacing 2 further rounds of interviews), one was an exercise with part of the team and the other an interview with the product owner. Both interviews took a fair amount of time (particularly the exercise) so overall I spent the better part of an afternoon. Regardless of the outcome, I expected to hear from them again but after investing all that time, complete and utter silence. I understand that maybe I wasn't suited for the role for whatever reason but I expected the decency of at least getting back to me with a message and some feedback as to why I didn't make it. If that's the kind of treatment they think candidates deserve you can tell as employers they will be lacking as well.
