I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Ellucian (Fairfax, VA) in July 2015
Interview
Phone screening for a start, and then a phone/Skype interview and lastly a face to face interview. some interviewer might also ask you to give a technical test on the spot like writing an algorithm / pseudo code for a given problem. 1:1 interview lasts for more than 2 hours, so do not rush on your answers. The interview is sometime taken into a meeting room with a presence of Manager or a Scrum Master.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Brush up your technical skills and expect tough technical questions. Was asked on roles and responsibility on my previous job. Communication is key.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Ellucian (Reston, VA)
Interview
Prompt and efficient. No wasted time. Answered all my questions. Treated me with respect. Best interview process I have experienced. I met with different levels of people (i.e. team members and manager level) during separate interviews so each could be focused on the proper content.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Ellucian (Bengaluru) in Dec 2017
Interview
Very prompt and professional.
There were four rounds in total :
First is the written round which involved answering 20 questions .
Then technical round .
Followed by Manager round.
Finally the HR round
I applied for UI Developer profile and got a call for a f2f interview. They were hiring for java and ui developer. First round was a written technical round common for both java and UI. It consisted of all aptitude and JAVA spring hibernate questions. Out of 30 questions only two questions were UI related , on jquery. After years of experience in complete ui development and javascript , how can they expect ui people to answer questions on hibernate, hashedmap and tree map. Most pathetic selection procedure I ever saw. Time waste.
