I applied online. I interviewed at EssilorLuxottica (Agordo) in May 2023
Interview
Applied to Process Engineering Project Manager position under the Operations Talent Program, a program intended for junior profiles to get practical experience in production along with business schooling.
1. Applying for the program online (no specific position).
2. Call from HR after about 3 months (had already almost forgotten I applied there). Basic initial questions about background.
3. An online IQ/English/psychological tests to check language and general logical thinking skills. Pretty difficult, but you're not expect to do 100% (you'd need to be a genius).
4. Teams meeting with the HR. The person was late to the call 15 minutes. Now talking specifically about the possible positions based on your profile, and you will choose the positions that you like to apply to.
5. Meeting with the HR and the manager for the position you are applying to. Both were again late 15 minutes. Since I was going for a PM position, I was asked basic questions about that. Hr told me I would receive feedback by end of the week. Then, there were supposed to be another meeting with business managers and even a final-round on location (in Agordo, IT), but to my surprise I never received another email from Luxottica after that call. I thought a company like Luxottica would have solid HR processes in place to notify candidates whether the feedback is positive/negative, but seems that is not the case. Impression from the interview process is unprofessional, both because they never got back to me, but also they were 15 minutes late to all scheduled meetings.
Update! Couple of weeks later I did finally receive a generic rejection letter, not from the HR I was exchanging emails with, but from the "Talent Acquisition Team" simply stating they "decided to proceed with other candidates". No further feedback given.
