Interview
Predominantly recruit through university relations. Preliminary campus interviews lead to second round interviews, usually on the phone. On-line applications are accepted, but didn't seem to be very common. Applicants to other ExxonMobil affiliates (EM Chemicals, Downstream, etc.) can be considered as well

Question 1
First round interview is mostly behavioral with some open-ended technical questions. Answers should emphasize individual accomplishments.
Second round is more personal, understanding if you would mesh well with the company.
Most of the questions were focused on hypothetical scenarios, also did go through resume. The interviewers are generally quite nice and will be relevant to the team that you are attached to.

Interview
The interview is quite chill. He mostly asked me to explain my cv and 1 technical questions. The interviewer is quite friendly too. Be sure to know everything you wrote at your cv
questions and answer type, question were really difficult to tailor our experience to it and all are behavioral questions. Does not ask about why you choose the company / the position at all.
