I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Fidelity Investments (New York, NY) in Oct 2023
Interview
I had a first round interview, and then withdrew myself from consideration because in-person was mandatory for this position. Like many companies, I think they're going through some in-person/hybrid/WFH growing pains. Some positions allow for remote, and it's not always clear on the job postings. But it seemed like a great company and great position!

Generic questions about my background and interest in the role
I applied online. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at Fidelity Investments
Interview
I had 3 interviews total, one with a recruiter and two panel interviews. Everyone I spoke to was nice and attentive, and asked good questions. However, the communication during the interview process left much to be desired. It took several days between interviews to find out if I moved to the next stage. The time between the final interview and the final update hearing that I didn't get the role was a month. It seems like if they are excited about your candidacy, you'll know it and they won't waste any time letting you know. If it takes a few days to hear back from your recruiter, it's safe to say you're not their top pick. For me, from application to final rejection was about 4 months.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Fidelity Investments in June 2019
Interview
Phone screen first then an in-person interview with 3 different people all at the same time. One of the people was via remote zoom.
Questions started at the screening process to validate my content, writing, and web/app experience.
In person, I was asked about my background, I listened to their workflow, what they do, and what they hoped to grow with the group internally, then asked specific questions related to the job. After the interview, they gave me a tour of the space and explained the culture.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
It's been a while, but I recall a question about when I had to manage an internal conflict in my previous jobs and how I handled it.
Another question was about how I would influence people outside the internal group I was assigned. How I would create consensus and buy-in.
They also asked about my ability to work independently and in groups.
