I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Garmin (Cary, NC) in Apr 2018
Interview
First interview was with HR over the phone. Mostly behavioral questions for about an hour. Second interview was a technical interview with the hiring manager. These were all "Tell me about a time. . . " questions related to my software engineering experience. Also about an hour in length. Third interview was in-house and it was 3 hours. They gave a couple of brain teasers, a "write me some code on the whiteboard that does . . . . . " question, and a lot of other questions that were a mixture of behavioral and technical.

Question 1
Brain teaser #1: Given 8 balls and a balance, how many weighings would it take to find one ball that does not weigh the same as the other 7.
Brain teaser #2: Two boys enter a tunnel. When they are 1/3 of the way through, they hear a train coming. If the boys run in opposite directions at the same speed, and narrowly miss getting hit by the train at their respective end of the tunnel, how fast was the train traveling compared to the 2 boys?
I was applying to one of their Senior Software Engineer openings in the Boulder location. I had gone through a round of interviews. The questions were not bad, and the interviewers were pleasant. My main concern is that the HR/Recruitment is only opening this position for candidate lead farming! I had asked multiple times for an understanding on the my current status to be given radio silence.
1 month later, the job opening is reposted on linkedIn. With over hundreds of qualified candidates, you're telling me you can't find one qualified candidate. Don't waste multiple hours!!

Interview
I had an hour-long interview with a recruiter who came across as unprofessional and rude. The recruiter asked me to rate my skills on various topics, which took about 20-30 minutes. When she inquired about my expected salary, I asked for the salary range, which seemed to annoy her. Her demeanor changed, and she immediately lost interest.

I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Garmin (Kansas City, MO) in July 2022
Interview
I initially interviewed with the Technical Recruiter, but I was declined before being able to interview with the actual hiring manager or interview with the technical team members. I thought the interview with the recruiter went really well so I was actually shocked when I wasn't able to proceed with the interview process. My guess is that it had to do with my race, based on some of the questions I was asked.
