It was intense. The whole process consisted of a phone interview, a half day site visit to meet the group and finally a 2 day long interview which was a presentation and 25 different 1:1 interviews. They make sure that the person they are hiring is good and compatible with everybody.

1.5 day interview beginning with seminar presentation to the 20-25 team members. Followed by back-to-back 30min interviews with team members from host department as well as closely allied ones. 2 lunch and 1 dinner interview included. Very welcoming environment and friendly, experienced team.

I think there is normally a phone screening but since I had an employee referral I was able to go straight to a phone interview. I got invited for an all-day, onsite interview which consisted of several back-to-back interviews and a job talk.

The interviewers each asked several questions when we met 1:1. The questions ranged from what specific statistical terms meant to how do you interpret study results in certain scenarios.
Two slides into my presentation, I started getting asked good questions about my study methods. Some of the questions were about how I determined categories for variables or how I calculated measures.

Interview
It was an 8 hours onsite interview. I met with 10 senior scientist and Directors associate directors from different division, each took 30 minutes. There was a 1 hr seminar, where they check your communication skill and scientific excellence.
