One broad interview with the hiring manager then multiple interviews with members of the team. I have had a total of 4 interviews at Genentech for two different roles and have made it to the second round of interviews every time. Honestly, I love interviewing there because I have always gotten along so well with the people I am interviewing with and the conversations flow very smoothly. Everyone seems so bright but has a good balance of driven yet laid back.
