I applied through university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at General Mills (Covington, GA) in Sept 2011
Interview
Initial contact was made through campus recruiters at my university. I was told to apply online immediately for the MEA intern position so the interview process could move as quickly as possible. I had an on campus interview with two representatives from the company. The next step of the process was on site at on of their nearby plants. This included meeting with 4 to 5 groups of 2 and a plant tour. The entire process took 4 weeks, with the interviews being 2 weeks apart, and the offer coming less than 2 weeks after the on site interview.
