I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Gensler (Atlanta, GA) in July 2015
Interview
I applied on Gensler's website and got back from 3 weeks. I received the mail scheduled in the 7:30AM in the morning because I was in LA, the time zone is different than GA, it was an super early interview experience. Also, it was a online GoTomeeting interview, the whole interview took 1 hour, they review from your portfolio, previous work experience, etc.
During the Gensler prescreen, the recruiter primarily confirmed my basic information, including my current location, graduation date, visa status, and whether I would require company support for OPT or other work authorization.
They also asked about my interest in the position I applied for, my openness to other related roles, and my potential start date.
The prescreen did not cover my portfolio or technical skills; it mainly focused on gathering background information to determine whether to move forward to the next stage of interviews.

Question 1
About myself. What is my future plan on architecture?
Go through some questions and the interviewers were nice. It was a general interview experience. At the last I was asked to give some questions and then finished the interview.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Gensler (Los Angeles, CA) in Apr 2024
Interview
Good, was with a few members of an architecture studio, went well. Went over portfolio and past experiences and got to know each other. It was about 1 hour long. It was in person in the office -- a huddle room.
