Hiring manager contacted over email. Followed by about an hour semi-technical phone interview. On-site consisted of 8 ~30 minute interviews. Lots of questions about how I would set up testing, what procedures i would follow, how to determine priority of tests. The interviewers were a variety of different specialties and each asked questions from the perspective of their field, which was challenging and enjoyable. No fluff questions, just the kinda stuff you'd expect to be discussing with them if you actually worked there.
