I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Google (Tel Aviv-Yafo) in Feb 2018
Interview
It started with a short section of trying to understand who is the applicant - general background, education, tendencies, excellence history, hobbies, team work capabilities etc. It continued with quantitive questions-->Business problem/simulation question--->Business savviness questions.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
1. Going through the funnel of UA, simulating different numbers, and asking to calculate different metrics.
2. Simulating a small business needs and performance to estimate the justification of an online campaign
The interview process was straightforward and professional. It began with a recruiter screening focused on my background, interest in the Business Analyst role, and general fit. The conversation then moved into my analytical experience, communication style, and how I approach ambiguous business problems.
Interview process is dumb. Honestly not worth the hype. Was done over the phone and the interviewer wasn’t even that friendly. I’m sure it’s a great fit for some people but I need something with more of a focused vision.
