I applied through a recruiter. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Google (Mountain View, CA) in June 2022
Interview
Submitted an application and got an immediate reach out from a recruiter. Did a phone interview and got scheduled quickly for an online interview with a hiring manager. There were actually 3 jobs open so three hiring manager. First interview was good, questions were typical google and not necessarily role related. Second interview was online and actually a lot of role related knowledge and I was surprised by that as the recruiter acknowledged I didn't have a ton of role related knowledge. After a long wait after the second interview, I got a email asking for a call and was told the interviewers thought I was a great fit for google but they needed someone with more role related knowledge. I was invited to stay in touch with the recruiter and let her know if I wanted to apply for more jobs if something else opened up that I was interested in.

Question 1
Google asks you not to share them, but I was asked very specific questions about what I would do in business related operations. After I answered, they acknowledged I wouldn't know the answer to it, but they wanted to know how I'd approach the problem.
